The Activance Story
The Activance story began in Europe over 50 years ago, after WWII, when rhodanide supplements were used to boost immunity in people and livestock. Scientists observed that rhodanide improved the coats of animals, prompting research from leading German universities. They discovered that rhodanide, naturally produced by our bodies, is essential for cell biology.
In hair, rhodanide reawakens dormant follicles, promotes regrowth, boosts energy, and strengthens strands, resulting in thicker, fuller hair. Decades of research led to the development of Activance, the first natural hair and scalp solution, in the late 1990s. Arthur Chan brought Activance to Australia in 2000, eventually acquiring the brand.
Now Australian-owned and manufactured, Activance products are distributed worldwide. Customers report significant hair improvements, regardless of type or condition. The name "Activance" reflects the idea of acting in advance for total hair and scalp health. Rhodanide, also known as thiocyanate, was recognized as a safe food additive by the FDA in 1987.
