What's the difference between Activance Hair Wellness & Activance Professional? 

That's one of our most asked questions. Read on to discover the difference between our two highly effective HAIR HEALTH brands. 

1. OK, this is the same: Both ranges have the same potency of bioidentical vitamin-like hair growth nutrient molecule, Rhodanide, as the star active ingredient to accelerate hair growth and regrowth while promoting scalp health. 
2. AGAIN: Both are low-allergy formulas. However, the entire Activance Professional range is unscented with 0% fragrance, while in the Hair Wellness range the early two formulas, Original & Plus have a very light fragrance.

The Densify range offers three formulas (01, 02, 03), each containing the same potent hair growth molecule, Rhodanide. However, they differ in the amounts of synergistic bio-actives (such as amino acids and botanicals) included. These variations allow for tailored results, optimising hair growth, hydration, and nourishment to match individual preferences and needs.

Both the Activance Professional and Hair Wellness ranges share common anti-hair loss, anti-thinning, and anti-aging properties. However, the Professional range offers additional functional benefits, particularly in protecting against allergens and pollution, which is especially relevant in today's urban and often polluted environments. 

Note: While the Hair Wellness range does offer some anti-pollution benefits, its primary focus is on using Rhodanide for neutralising harmful oxidants and free radicals. This action reduces the amount of Rhodanide available for promoting hair growth.

In contrast, products such as Vitalise, Purify Calming Shampoo and Conditioner from the Activance Professional range offer more comprehensive anti-pollution protection. These specific products minimise pollutants' adhesion to hair, which could otherwise lead to hair damage, thinning, and ageing.

All Activance products are designed for functional regenerative health purposes rather than cosmetic or supplemental.

It's crucial to follow the recommended product choice, usage, and proper dosage as listed to achieve the intended effects. Neglecting these guidelines renders any perceived benefits mentioned above ineffective. To illustrate, just as an adult must adhere to the correct dosage and frequency of pain-relieving paracetamol for desired results, the same precision is required for using Activance products. 

A brief history...

Activance Original hair growth treatment emerged in 1997, stemming from the work of German scientists and professors who dedicated over half a century to research and conducted six years of clinical studies. 

R&D pharmacist, Arthur Chan, joined forces with them in the late 1990s to introduce the Activance Original formula to Australia, New Zealand, and other global markets. This marked the beginning of the Activance Hair Wellness range, which has maintained a presence for more than two decades.

Initially supplied to healthcare settings and later to hair and beauty salons, the range avoided entering the supermarket sector. 

The Hair Health Revolution begins...

From early 2010, Arthur received consistent requests and feedback from professional trichologists and salon owners. They sought their own Activance range exclusively tailored to their premium, upmarket clientele. 

This specialised approach aimed to capitalise on the close relationships these professionals had with clients, enabling highly personalised care over extended periods (20-60 minutes per session, every 6-8 weeks). 

Responding to these demands, our founder created Activance Professional in the late 1990s after seven years of dedicated research and development. 

This advanced range was designed to meet the unique needs of accredited outlets, ensuring optimal results through proper product selection and ongoing expert guidance.
